Quit cooling after 3 years, finish started chipping off after 3 months, have never been able to contact lg directly. Will never buy a LG product again.

Good Looking Waste of Money!

I bought this unit in Jan. 2018. Such a beautiful addition to my kitchen. I started to notice the food would be lukewarm. I did reset the fridge as instructed. It would go from cold to lukewarm. All my frozen foods were mushy about $200 worth. Had to toss the items and reset the fridge again. Once again everything went from cold to lukewarm. Here it is June 2020 the unit has gone completely out. I have lost about $400 in food. My son has a $2,000 medication that has to be refrigerated and we have lost that. Whose gonna replace that? I am waiting for someone LG is sending to come and fix the unit. Until then we are using a cooler while our beautiful 2 year old fridge is sitting nice and hot. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

I have owned this fridge raptor for less than 2 yrs. and it does not cool properly and my ice maker does not work properly because the unit does not cool properly. SEE PHOTOThe problem is made worse because LG knows they have a problem with the linear compressors, and overall performance of this product. There Repair technician told me that 49 -55 degrees is a safe refrigerator temperature.SEE PHOTOI have lost all my groceries twice and has cost me over $400 in spoiled groceries. I hope someone from LG gets this review and offers to repair the unit or replace the unit. If not, I hope I can save another potential customer the LG headache and go another route.

Only had two years and the whole sealed system went out. Called. Of course they said it was out of warranty. Paid to have someone come tell me what was wrong. Called LG back when I did some research. Come to find out there is a class action lawsuit on these compressor with LG. When I called back they miraculously could repair it at tnot charge. Had to send the same repair company three times to fix it. The sealed system was contaminated from the bad compressor. ItÕs running now after 3 weeks of no refrigerator. But what happens when it goes bad again. I should have demanded a new refrigerator
