We purchased a home in 2019 that had a complete set of Electrolux Icon appliances installed in 2010. The $4000 fridge has several problems. Ice maker does not work and cannot be repaired according to three different service companies. We purchased an external icemaker and now manually load the ice bin. Freezer drawer routinely comes off track. Yesterday the front panel started acting strange where the touch screen buttons to not work properly. Sure hoped that a $4k appliance would not have so many problems. I've had enough. Plan to replace with a simple $2k Maytag side-by-side with no complicated ice and water dispenser.

This refrigerator was installed in all the new housing within my neighborhood and everyone has had problems as it will not keep cool. Had the repairman over at least six times within the first two years. Ended up using my old Maytag (in the garage) for perishables. Going out to buy a new refrigerator today.

I bought this about 7 years ago, and had it serviced 3 times now. This week I had a service repair out and discovered the same issue that many have reported. The back had rusted out due to design flaws with water being too close to freezer and condensation. One of the previous repairs was to add foam, which solved one problem and caused another. For the price I paid, I was hoping to get more than 7 years out of the unit.

I bought this fridge 7+ years ago, so it's not like it was a lemon, but there were small problems from the beginning and now it's dying/dead. A relatively expensive fridge should last longer.Within first year, we noticed a couple annoying issues. First, the screw used to keep water-catch tray on the door is not stainless! So, obviously, it has rusted. Yuck. Then the tray itself is oxidizing a green color. Finally, the plastic that held the door magnets broke so the magnets would stick to the fridge (pulling out of the door). I had to duck tape them in. Fast forward to now (during a pandemic) and the ice maker has a leak that froze the water tube (so water would no longer come out) and now seems to have frozen the fridge cooling (freezer is so far fine). Can it be fixed? Maybe. But is it worth it? Probably not. Either way I know need to have someone into my house during this stay at home order.
